Missing all towns, create options, etc.

I downloaded and installed Sims 3 Into the Future. The game installed and is cracked and opens fine. But when I get to the main screen where you start a new game or select the "world" you want to play in there's nothing there. Here's what the in game screen looks like.

Missing all towns, create options, etc. Unname10

I have absolutely no idea why create, edit, etc., is missing.

Help

Any suggestions?

I have exactly the same problem. Does anybody know how to fix it? Please..I downloaded The Sims 3 Seasons expansion from here, did the ultimate fix...everything. I really don't understand what the problem is. Hope somebody can help us! Help

There are two fixes, one is a patch, the other is an ultimate fix. I did both and got mine working.

Hello and sorry for the late reply,

When you get that type of error, you ALWAYS have to make sure to use the latest manual patch and Ultimate fix too. This means, just do or repeat the steps from #2 to #4 here:

I was wondering how is it that you apply the patch..sorry, I'm a bit new to all this as you can tell

After downloading that patch, which is about 1.62 GB in size, you simply double-click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions - and WAIT until the patcher has finished updating.

Then you do steps #3 and #4 of the "must-read guide".

P.S. next time, please make a NEW thread for you issue(s), instead of posting under someone else's topic. Smile

In order for the "Ultimate fix" to work, you need to have at least one of the following expansions installed:

Into the Future, Movie Stuff, Island Paradise, University Life, 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.

It doesn't matter how many of them you have, but you need to have AT LEAST ONE of them installed - or you can just install all of them - like I did. Refer to step #1 of the must-read guide.
