Unofficial Game Mods

Ok, so I made a profile here just so I can ask this. Yes I looked through the others, and I know there's a lot. But mine is different. And mind you yes I've checked my mods, I always check them and delete caches.

So after I went to college and didn't have my bought version of Sims 3 something came up and I had to uninstall it from my laptop. Well I found a pirated version of the game and all eps before Island Paradise. I downloaded, installed and played with no problem. Yes I had a couple mods at this point but all up to date. Well I downloaded and installed Island Paradise (from you guys) the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix. Worked perfectly fine. Added more custom content, more mods, added some generations tattoos. Right after the newest patch 1.67 I tried to add TWOLNS (spelled it wrong) career mod. Obviously didn't work so I uninstalled correctly.
The beginning of July I started running into problems. I added some Lorandia clothes, Skysims hair, a car from Sims resource and some kids pants from fc and they installed fine for two days. Then I log in and some of my stuff is missing (all mentioned above as well as some of my less used custom content), checked they were downloaded but not installed. So I tried re-installing several times to no avail. Well I didnt mind and left it for a bit until it happened again, this time taking most of my custom content out. So I took it all out and got a unofficial game mod error. Closed launcher, pulled it back up and error was gone. I tried downloading custom content, game mod error again. So I took out all my mods, deleted my caches and checked the interwebs to make sure they were up to date (all but two are confirmed) So I put them back and try again. Game mod error. I take them out, delete caches and try again. Game mod error. I said screw it and downloaded my custom content anyway (I checked it with the dashboard to make sure it was ok) Well I get it all in try to play and get a game mod error (still no mods installed) so I continue, my saves are gone (still in the folder though) and I have no options. So I quit and search the interweb. I factory reset my game (without uninstalling) it, still got a game mod error with no mods. I went in and uninstalled everything and re-installed my games, manual patch and ultimate fix with no mods and I still get the error. Is there something Im missing? Is it the download? I'm normally savvy when it comes to Sims but I'm stuck..

Ps. Don't forget to create a backup of your savegames, just to be sure: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves !

And I have my files backed up two or three times.

DO NOT skip any steps and make sure to RE-DOWNLOAD both the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix!
