Hello Need Help Downloading the Ultimate Fix!!!!!!

Hello! This is my first time posting! I would love some help.

So, I downloaded the Ultimate Fix yesterday and woke up this morning to try to install.
I unzipped the appropriate folders and have been trying to follow the steps.
First question, I keep see : "In order for this Fix to work, you need AT LEAST one of the following expansions: Into the Future ect."
Does that mean I need to have bought one of these and installed it?? or does it mean if I am installing the sims 3 I need to make sure to add atleast one expansion? (Kind of a dumb question I am sure)

My main issue with installing is that within my "World Adventures" folder (all of my folders)
I have .exe files and .dll files.. They are only readable files. Every folder looks like this





Did I download a PC Version? What have I done!! I'm not very good with things like this..

Also I have searched around for this but just want to make sure on a mac, If I have the base game installed from a CD do I need to download the one that comes in this package?

First thing first : welcome, and don't panic, you are at the right place and not asking dumb question.

1. It means you need at least one expansion starting from Generation. It is mainly for cracking purpose since EA changed their way of doing the whole shenanigan and from Generation things got really easier  So, yes, for the fix, you need at least one of the expansion listed. You don't need to "buy" them tho

2. The game is a pc game, even on mac. To work on mac, it was just wrap ( cider actually is the word ) into a bunch of specific code so the mac can read it. But cracking just work the same, you change those file and you'll be fine

3. If you have the base game on cd, you don't need to download it from anywhere, keep your version, it is the same

So what should I do next to change the .exe .dll files?

Being on a Mac too, I know what it is to suddenly see an .exe file

You just need to replace them in your game. The same file, drag-and-drop, replace, play

I'm sorry I just really don't understand what you mean .. The only files I have are the .exe files. I torrented all of the sims 3 expansions and the base game and my folders from the download only have .exe files. Do I need a Wrapper or whatever ? haha I'm just so confused. Been trying to figure this out for 5 hours!

What you have are the files cracked, to let you play the game without a CD.
So you need to replace them into your game.

Right-clic on The Sims 3 ( the game ) and click on "Show Content Package"
Now, navigate to Contents>Resources>transgaming>c_drive>Program Files>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Game>Bin

Put the .exe and .dll there. You will be prompt to Replace. Say yes !

Since I do not have program folders for the expansions in my original Electronic arts folder where should I put these files?

What do you mean in your original Electronic Arts folder ?
You did Right-Click on The Sims 3 game ? Not the folder in your Documents.

oh I right clicked the folder in my documents that I previously installed. Ugh

OH wow.. I made this a lot harder than it should have been hahah goodness. All I had to do was click play.... dang haha THANK YOU SO MUCH
