Is 'The Sims 4' All About the Character Interactions? Empty Is 'The Sims 4' All About the Character Interactions?

Hello! I was reading a list on here that mentioned everything missing from 'The Sims 4'.

I was just wondering if anybody who has bought or played the game thinks the way the characters interact and develop, is worth everything that is missing?

It seems like they really tried to play up that aspect of the game.. just curious if it is noticeably different from 'The Sims 3'.

Yes, I'm curious as well!
It really seems like the only thing worth it about this game... but does it compensate the lack of other things?

Honestly, I only play the sims to build houses and create characters. I rush through gameplay, use cheats, etc. Not saying I don't play the game, but I mean..I spend less time playing it? I managed to make my sims fall and love and marry within a day -_- which is "normal" to do while playing, but yea. Just saying how quick I like to progress things. I did notice a lot of difference between sims 3 and sims 4 though.

While my sim was reading a book, she decided she was going to use the bathroom. Needless to say, she read the book while going to the bathroom. They do a lot of multitasking now. They can now sit and do stuff on the computer while talking to other sims, they no longer get up and stop what they're doing to interact. My child sim did her homework while talking to my adult sim--I didn't think she was doing her homework, but i hovered over it and she still was! I find it a lot more..realistic? And it's nicer, there definitely is A LOT more interaction with no "dead" time, when your sims stand there and do nothing. I'm not sure if it makes up for open world, but that doesn't really bother me that much.

You can age your baby sim up the same day as well--I'm not sure if that's because I had cheats on, or if you can really do that with your babies now. Though there is no toddler stage, but again that didn't bother me. I always hated having to pick them up for stairs and stuff, but it did make it more realistic with not having that age gap from baby to child.

Having no pool is disappointing, but oh well.

it sound good and all, but still I love the toddler stage very much! Crying or Very sad  is for me it a lost a lot of the sims life stage's, and it's not realistic at all. it's a stape buck to the sims 1, and even there you have pools. sorry if I sound too negative about this...

No I completely agree! :'( It just doesn't bother me as much as other people. The thing that bothers me is the way the world is set up. All I could think of when I saw it was when Windows 8 first came out. How that screen looked. It makes me cringe, but w/e. Wish the whole town was at least in color if they were going to put it flat 2D, but instead it's whited out until you hover over it No shit, Sherlock.
