Update just freeze. [SOLVED]

Hello, this is my first topic.   

I have installed games4theworld's sims 3, and then I tried to update it to patch 1.67 (in the launcher). When it gets about probably 60% it just freeze there.
Can anybody help me? Do I have to apply the Ultimate Fix? Because I don't have any expansion packs installed right now.

Oh, and do you have to have ALL EP that you want downloaded before you install The Sims 3? Like, you can't add it afterwards? Because I tried installed UL and Supernatural and Sims 3 Launcher recognized them but it says 'Please insert UL disc'  So I reinstalled. Thanks.

You can install it afterward or before, its up to you.Like for example I was playing with sims 3 with a bunch of eps and then I decided to get supernatural so I just added it to the game. But just remember to apply the crack from the ultimate fix and follow the instructions.
