Quick Question [SOLVED]

I have The Sims 3 game running through Origin with a few expansions in it already, do I have to apply a crack or something to all of them before adding torrented versions? Or just the base game? And where would I apply the #crack thing and the manual patch, and when would I apply them? After putting the expansions in, or before?

Also, where are the specific expansion downloads from here, and where would I put them? The others I have are under the base game's folder, so I'm assuming they'd go there, but I don't want to mess up.

No, you don't have to apply any cracks before installing EPs from here, just after. The crack is the one #Crack that is inside the Ultimate Fix, NOT the ones inside the expansion packs torrents. It only needs to be applied to the base game folder, after you install some expansion packs from here, namely here: Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. To apply it, just copy and replace the .dll and .exe inside to the location I gave you. 

The Manual Patch is an official tool from EA to update the game to the latest version. You can use it whenever you want, but for the installation of the EPs from here you should do it after installing them. The crack comes afterwards. Take a look at this guide:

The expansion packs can be found here:

You need a program to download torrents (we recommend uTorrent), and then click the Magnet at the side of each EP. The download will start automatically. To extract the RAR files you'll get, you need WinRAR, that can be found in the same page where the EPs are. 

To install the EPs, you just need to double click the Autorun inside each folder, getting the product code from the Installation Guide. The rest of the guide is obsolete and must be ignored, use the guide I gave you instead (first link). After that, continue with the Steps 2-4 from the guide.

Thanks for the info. I have one more question, now that the EPs are done torrenting, I did as you said and ran the first of them with autorun, and used the code in the guide, so do I have to crack it now, or am I good?

It still needs to be cracked, but you can do it after you install all of the EPs you want. Also keep in mind that you need at least one of the EPs mentioned in the Step 1 of the guide for it to work.

So, I suggest that you first install all of the EPs you have and then continue with the steps 2-4 from the guide.

Yes, ignore those completely. The only crack you need is the #Crack folder inside the Ultimate Fix, that is the Step 3 of the guide.

For now, continue installing the rest of the EPs and then continue with the Manual Patch at step 2.

I was expecting some fatal error, or my saves to disappear, or my laptop to randomly shut down, but it actually worked fine. The Sims. Working fine. Hah. That's a new one.
