The Sims 1 'Insert Disk' Empty The Sims 1 'Insert Disk'

Hi there,

I've just downloaded The Sims 1 and it's telling me I need to insert the disk each time I try to run it, though it installed no problem. I also tried copying from the #Crack file as mentioned in the instructions but I didn't get a "Replace" Option like it said I should... could this be the problem?

Hello HaBazzles and welcome,


Are you sure you are trying to copy + paste the #crack-file to the right location ? Please double-check the instructions for the right location. There, you MUST replace the old file, with the new one. The option that should come up when trying to paste the #crack file is "copy and replace", and you should confirm that option.
