gallery off even in CASdemo

Hey everyone! I see you have a few issues with the gallery but neither of them really answered my question so here it is:
First of all, before playing the sims 4 by G4tW I played the on by RELOADED - which I believe is basically the same crack you have here.
With RELOADED I was able to access the gallery with no problem and even use my origin account - I would open origin, put it offline and in the game go online in the gallery.
My problem is that I can't access the gallery with G4tW's version but I'm not sure the problem is in the crack because I re-installed the CASdemo like Carlos said in another thread and I can't access the gallery there either WhatDidUJustCallMe?

Also, I looked around online and apparently a lot of people have this issue and EA doesn't seem to have an answer. Is there anyway you could give me some guidelines just so I understand this a little better?

Hello TudorQueen,

The game with which you went online was most likely the one from 3DM, and not the "RELOADED" one. The 3DM game required you to make a fake Origin account and then "go offline" with it, before playing the game each time.

And did you modify anything in your firewall ? Try playing around and see if you can add the .exe of the Sims 4 CAS demo to the "exception list" of your firewall.

Other than that I'm afraid I'm clueless; this is a brand-new game, and we still need to figure out lots of things.

You're right! It was the #MD not RELOADED. Sorry... gallery off even in CASdemo 3647220984

I haven't done anything new to my firewall but I do have a new laptop. I think I played the previous game with it but I'll try your suggestion. I added the folder to the antivirus exceptions like the instructions said but not the firewall. Hopefully it helps.
Thank you! I know this game can be confusing with all the new origin/install/updates. The Sims 3 did seem easier to go around gallery off even in CASdemo Icon_rolleyes

Well, looks like EA did a good job with encryption of the game and Origin. In the mid-run, we might be able to wrap our heads around these issues people are right now experiencing with the base game of TS4.

But I'm afraid that in the long run, we're going to have lots of trouble with the expansions and DLC.

As for the online features, while I can understand that simmers expect a lot from G4TW, it is actually common standard for cracked games NOT to work "online". Hence I'm surprised that quite a few people asked about it. Razz

But it's OK.

I saw another workaround, which basically consists of adding your pirated Sims 4 game to the Origin account (Click on Origin at the top left in the Origin window, then Add Game -> Unify your game collection). You would then need to start Origin each time before playing, and then start the game. Also, in the in-game menu, enable online features, and then you "should" be able to go online.

Note: don't do this with your real Origin account that has valuable serial keys. Instead, do this with a FAKE account only.
