Installation Error - Source File is Corrupt [SOLVED]
Alright so I've restarted, I've made a Sims 4 folder in the default location so I can add it to the exception list before installing, I've remounted, I've made sure I was installing as Admin, I've done everything I could think of but this error persists.
Clicking retry causes the error to reappear, clicking ignore moves on to the next file but returns the same error. What am I missing and how can I fix it?

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
Sorry, but exactly what version are you trying to install? And did you make sure to let the torrent finish before attempting to install the game?

Then there's no need to mount anything.
What you need to do is extract the RAR file with WinRAR to an empty folder, and then double click the The_Sims_4_Setup.exe. The installation should finish by itself, there's no need to do anything else.

So I'm downloading the wrong torrent? Well that's actually a relief, not sure how I mixed that up. Thanks SeoY

Well, I think that you downloaded the normal RELOADED torrent. It should work perfectly fine too, as our release is based on this crack. The difference is that the other torrent has an ISO file (I think), while our release is a RAR file. But if you want to download our release, it should work the same. And it will be easier for us to help you.
You're very welcome.
We'll leave this topic open for you to post if you get any other issues. Or if you think you are good, just let us know and we'll close it. Good luck!

Everything is working great now! Game runs beautifully, having lots of fun.
My only remaining problem is that my anti-virus, AVG 2015, will not respect any exception I create and actively prevents the game from running, disabling my anti-virus fixes the problem but then I don't have anything protecting me from legitimate threats. Any tips?

Hello Bookdust,
Seriously, get rid of such an anti-virus program, if it doesn't accept your "exceptions". I can't make too many alternative suggestions; my most "immediate" idea would be for you to go for Avast Internet Security (look on Piratebay); which is the one I am using. While it also likes to delete cracked installers/.exe files too, at least it does accept your input - of exceptions.
Good luck !

Glad to hear that! Make sure that you add all of the folders to the exceptions list, and maybe even the sub-folders (it depends on the antivirus, as in some of them the exceptions don't work if you don't add the sub-folder manually).
As the problem is solved, I'll go ahead and close the topic now. If you ever need anything else, be sure to come back. Have fun!
