Sims 3 store Updates

I just downloaded The Sims 3 store updates yesterday and everything I've put on so far have worked fine, except the Lady Ravendancer Goth's Book O' Spells. Every time I have my sim use it, they disappear and reappear in the next room, and I have no clue why. It downloaded just fine into my launcher.
