Updating to Newest Patch [SOLVED]

I'm very sorry if this isn't where this sort of topic is supposed to go(first time using the forums), but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to update my game to the latest patch. I doubt I can do it through Origin and to my knowledge there is no manual patch for Version 1.2.16.10. Can anyone help me?

I would also like to know how to do this. I was used to downloading the updates for Sims 3 and updating them myself (without help from origin), but it seems the process is not the same for the Sims 4.

A clear answer to this question would be GREATLY appreciated!

To update the game to the latest version, you simply need to download our Ultimate Fix from this link here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18086-the-sims-4-ultimate-fix

Then, follow the Installation Guide inside. After you copy all of the four folders, open your game and it should be updated to the last version.
