Initialization error [135dec40:984c6a38:00000077] - FIX??? Empty Initialization error [135dec40:984c6a38:00000077] - FIX???

Possible FIX:

I saw two people with this problem for Sims 4. I remember seeing this and thought it was an Origin related problem. Either they still need Origin on the system to work or they haven't applied the crack correctly because if the Crack is without Origin then why would they get this error which is because Origin isn't installed or on?

So I came here before posting as I am unsure of the Crack workarounds so, would a possible fix to this problem be to install Origin to the same drive as Sims 4. Or check they've cracked it correctly?

Thanks,

Hi there, Layloria! Smile

Have you already read a possible fix for that error here?
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18501-unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-startup-fix-2

I would say it's more of a Firewall related problem than an Origin one, as a lot of people have successfully played the game without Origin installed (whether it being uninstalled or never having it in the first place). And the game already comes pre-cracked after the installation, so there's no way to have applied the crack incorrectly. What could have happened is that the antivirus, or any security software, deleted crack-related files from the install location, so the Ultimate Fix is provided to restore this same files that *could* have been deleted (or 'cleaned').

That being said, there's still a lot of mystery regarding that error, but the ideal thing is that the game should work perfectly fine without Origin installed nor running.

They said they disabled their antivirus software before installation.

Yes, well, some users say that they do a lot of things. Not only that, but some antivirus have multiple services, and each of them needs to be disabled separately. And others completely ignore user input (like a lot of the Symantec software) and continue scanning and working even when the user 'disabled' them. Each antivirus works differently, so it's up to the user to learn how the one(s) they have work. In other cases, they even have multiple security software that is interfering without them even knowing it's there. So, there's a lot of factors that lead to the same errors appearing.

In this error's case, for example, some antivirus have a separate Firewall service, and most of the time it's not apparent that it's there. It can be blocking the game, causing errors like this one. That needs to be taken care of, too, but if the user doesn't know it's there it makes it more difficult. And it's impossible to make a guide for every antivirus out there, meaning that it's the user the one that needs to take a look into that.

Yes, SeoY said most of the things I wanted to say too. The first thing to keep in mind is that simply disabling the anti-virus doesn't always help. Lot of people do that, because they are unfamiliar with the behavior and settings of their AV programs. So simply "turning it off completely" sounds like an easy alternative solution, right ?

Of course not. Some anti-virus programs cannot be turned off (completely). Even if there is an option for that. And yes, many AV programs have built-in firewalls too, which need to be (de-)activated separately.

And let's not forget all these third-party firewall or anti-malware/spyware programs, which can pose additional difficulties of all sorts.

Next, also part of the explanation is that many people still have the 3DM/Skidrow release, and now they want to save time and simply apply the G4TW Ultimate fix to that 3DM game. That's NOT going to work either - and you will end up with said initialization error. As for my experience, it IS possible to overcome that error (I saw it firsthand with a couple of users I helped via TeamViewer - OK, they also had avast as their AV program though, which made things easier for me, since I got the same).

However, I cannot get back to all people via TeamViewer. To all those people saying "I don't have an anti-virus 1!!". Or "I turned it off completely". The guide that I posted in the fixes section (and which SeoY linked to above) is mostly meant as an illustrative guide; something like an example situation. People will have to "apply" these things I mentioned, to their own anti-virus software. And they will - at some point - also need to familiarize themselves with their "security"-software.

I actually opened this other thread here "long" time ago, for exactly this kind of stuff. Next time you have a possible fix for TS4 and/or if you want to discuss about it, please post in this other thread. Thank you. Smile
