setup2.cab corrupt? The sims 4

Hello. i've finished downloading The Sims 4 (which took me two days) and now when i try to extract the files it gives me an error which reads:
! C:\Users\asus\Documents\My Downloads\The Sims 4.rar: CRC failed in setup2.cab. The file is corrupt
The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.
! Read error in the file C:\Users\asus\Documents\My Downloads\The Sims 4.rar
The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.
I'm not sure what to do exactly. I've tried both WinZIP and WinRAR as i thought they might be the problem but it was no use. both give me the same error .-.

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum! 
Did you make sure that the torrent was fully downloaded before trying to extract the RAR? This is very important, it should have been showing "Seeding", or "Finished". If you still have it in uTorrent (assuming you are using this program), you can Stop the torrent and then right click it and select "Force Re-Check". This will make sure that the torrent is completely downloaded. After that, using only WinRAR, try extracting the RAR into an empty folder anywhere in your C: drive.

Yes i did make sure it was finished.I'm using FinalTorrent and it does say Complete/Seeding. Right now i re-did the whole extracting thing using WinRAR into an empty folder in C: drive again. Unfortunately, It didn't work.
I think there's probably nothing else to do right..? except maybe re-download it?

Sorry for the very late reply, but can you try right-clicking on your torrent of Sims 4, in the torrent client ? Then choose STOP.
Then right-click again and see if there's an option called "Force re-check". If yes, select that option. When it's done, try extracting the .RAR again. Good luck !
