Re: The Sims 3 is corrupt or not properly installed
Hello,
You either don't patch your game properly, or the download you have is from elsewhere other than G4TW, or the G4TW base game you downloaded is most likely corrupted.
(1) First of all, you are suggested to download and run the manual patch (even if you have patched, please download it and run it): https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v167-fix-manual-patch
(2) If that doesn't solve your problem, please download this tool from www.games4theworld.org: Your Uninstaller Pro! Run the setup to install it, and don't forget to check out the Installation Guide before proceeding to installing it.
After that, run Your Uninstaller Pro! and a window of Your Uninstaller Pro! will pop up. If you see anything regarding The Sims 3, double-click them one by one, and choose Super Mode to un-install them (this includes expansions as well). After that, restart your computer. Depending on your situation, you have 2 options:
i. If you download the games from Games4theworld, delete all the extracted files and re-extract the torrents you have downloaded and re-installed them.
ii. If you download the torrents elsewhere, download them from www.games4theworld.org, and re-install them.
Good luck and let us know if you need further assistance.
