Simcity 2013 and it's expansion pack question. [SOLVED]

I assume you only bought the base game of SimCity5, without any DLC ? If so, then yes, there isn't so much content in it. You should have bought the "Digital Deluxe" version straight away, even if it costs a bit more. Because to my knowledge, it's similar as in Sims 4: you cannot add pirated DLC to a SimCity5 game on Origin, since everything is "registered" on your Origin account. Yes, you can "upgrade" your game, but that would cost quite a lot. Again, it would have been much cheaper if you bought the "Digital Deluxe" straight away.

If you still try adding pirated DLC, it will either not work at all, or you will get a prompt asking for a serial number...

Now that's interesting...for me it is available. Maybe it's not available in some other countries though ? 

Anyhow, if you want a SimCity5 with DLC, you can look for pirated versions of it, but then you can't play online with it. I don't think there will be a real solution to this though, except the thing with the pirated version.
