Sims 3 starter pack no Sims 3 bin file

I got the Sims 3 starter pack as a gift. I wanted the expansion packs and have used this site in the past with good luck.
when I went into C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\ there is no Sims 3 folder. I keep thinking I'm missing something obvious.
The game played fine yesterday. I will continue to keep searching the site but haven't found anything related to the starter pack as of yet.
Update:
I have finally found the folder. If Its okay I would like to share if anyone else has this problem. The one small yet important detail is Origin.
I found the base game folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and all my other folders are under C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts
So far everything seems to be loading. I'll post if there are any new things to update.
