Problems finding folder to apply the Fix
Hey guys - I'm having a similarish problem.
I have Sims 3 Base game on Origin, along with Generations (both of which I installed from disk)
I just downloaded Show Time from you guys and it installed without a problem, when I ran the game and got to the Neighbourhood section, I got an error message saying that my Graphics Card isn't installed.
It wouldn't give me any options to choose a neighbourhood, create a new game, the drop down list was blank and it wouldn't allow me do anything.
So, I closed and re-ran. This time, it says that I need to insert Disk for Showtime.
I have the latest version on my launcher. I downloaded and applied the Ultimate fix but I'm still a little confused. Did I do something wrong? Since Showtime didn't go into Origin and in C / programme files / electronic arts / is only showing Showtime and Generations, and not base game, should I be applying the fix to somewhere else? I think this could be where I'm going wrong.
My apologies if this question has been answered somewhere else - I'm new
Thanks in Advance!

Welcome to the Forum!
I just separated your question from an old topic you "reused". Please, don't hesitate to open a new topic when you have a new question, instead of posting into something already existent and/or old...
Please, take a very carefull look into the instructions on the page below and check if you missed anything:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly?tid=3495f30973a5145b6185508c01b68849
Also, I would advise you to re-download the fix and follow the instructions below, your basegame must be in the origin folder, and not in the "regular/usual" folder that's used when you install "from disk" (there's even a video there):

Please, let us know if your got your problem solved or if you have further questions! Happy simming!!
