Hi,

I have tried absolutely everything but i still seem to get the same error. Does anyone know how to fix this? I get it after the launcher, when the game actually starts.

Did you use the Sims 3 base from the games4theworld torrent, if so then this is your problem.

Yes, i used Sims 3 from games4theworld. I've also did what the instructions told me. I have also used the right version of Stuffit expander. Really can't figure it out! Drives me bananas!

Can't seem to update it either though. It tells me the files are modified and that I should uninstall the program or delete the files. I have used the ultimate fix and everything. Weird...

The expansions form games4theworld are fine, it's just the base game from games4theworld does not work on Mac. As I said in my previous post, if you downloaded the base game from here, this your problem and it won't work. You must download the base game from elsewhere. I did have the base game in split links to download but they have now been removed, sorry. So basically, you can download the expansions from here, just not the base game.
