manually patching ambitions

Was looking for patches and found two types, a CD/DVD patch and one for digital downloads. Which one should I use to patch it up? Also, should I use the US patches or the worldwide patch versions for World Adventures? I did a search but I didn't see any threads pop up. If I missed it, I apologize.

Hello,
For G4TW releases I think you should use the CD/DVD patch. The worldwide patch versions should be good.

I used that fix and it worked great for when I first installed late night/townstuff. I was just hoping I might be able to patch the newest additions manually, adventures and ambitions, without having to uninstall and re-install from scratch. Ah well, thanks for the quick reply! Game seems to be just fine at it's current version so I'll just let it be.

Hello,
You wouldn't have to reinstall the game, but you'd need at least Town Life stuff to make the latest fix work. But as long as it works fine, that's ok right. Most of the things the new patch fixes are issues with the Generations expansionpack.
