Simcity 4 Deluxe problem.

Hello everybody, I've got a little problem with Simcity Deluxe 4. When I open the cracked file that was put in the ;Apps folder, the same picture with the bridge appears, and then nothing happens.
Does anybody know what to do, like a new cracked file or something like that?

Could you please post a screenshot of where exactly you pasted the crack to?

But, I don't think it's another file, because its the same amount of KB's as the original file. And it's the same file that i got from the crack.

Good, that seems to be the correct folder. So you get that picture when you double-click on the .exe file we see on the screenshot?
Which file exactly did you copy? Are you sure it was the .exe file from the "# Crack" folder?

Yes. I'm like 100% sure that I copied the file from the #Crack folder, and I already thought it was kinda strange because the two files where the same amount of KB's. But, can you give me anothere .exe or something, or do i have to download the whole torrent again?

It doesn't matter if the two files are the same size, it's nothing important. The important thing is that you're asked to replace the file and press "Replace".

I am having the same exact problem, have you found a solution ?

After I copy the crack in the app folder, I doubleclick on crack .exe to lauch the game and the same frozen bridge picture shows up.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps

same exact folder as aforementioned.

No, I don't think it's a bug. So, how did you start the game?

tried everything : doubleclicking on the crack.exe, thru windows menu, thru the "play" button on the cd auto-exec, I tried different windows versions (xp, 2000, etc). Again, like the previous user, the best I can get is the bridge picture freeze when I start the game thru the cd auto-exec.
