Doctors are too busy for their patients...

I've been enjoying playing with the doctor career in the GTW expansion. I have noticed some inconveniences, but I figured that's how EA designed it, making the player do most of the work. There is, however, a couple of problems in the mix. In the list of tasks I received during my sim's shift, is a task telling me to transfer my case to another doctor. I've noticed that often doctors are not on the lot. They tend to disappear soon after my sim's arrives to work. And when they are around the "transfer patient case" interaction doesn't work, even after calling them away from the lab as I read instructions about that on another site. Such an great career, yet still so flawed.

Hello and sorry for the belated reply,

Missing interaction options often indicate a conflict with mods or CC, so if you have these, please make sure to either remove those mods or re-download updated versions of them, if available. Smile

And yes, these other clerks/co-workers don't do much at all. For example, you need to guide incoming patients yourself, to the bed.

About your case, not sur if calling them away from the lab is really necessary to transfer a case, but I yet have to look into the details...

All of my mods are updated and it still happens. EA needs to make a patch to fix this problem, because sometimes after I finish some tasks the "To Do" list only shows "Transfer Patient Case" and "Greet Patients". Thats a problem, cause apparently if the sim already knows them, there won't be a greet interaction. The game has penalized my sim several times already saying he did a terrible job that day, and it's not my fault. How the hell is he supposed to succeed in the career if he can't complete his task's?

Yes, this is a bug in EA's side, many people on TS4 forums have spoken about it. I never expected an expansion pack to come without any bugs, lol. The doctor career seems to be the most broken though.

With the "Transfer paitent case" problem, please speak to the doctor about something else first, then the Transfer Paitent Case, once clicked, will work again.
