GTW does not show up since yesterday. [SOLVED]

Hi! So GTW was working fine before. Had been playing it for a couple of weeks. Suddenly today, it didn't show up in my game. Origin is offline but I can't open TS4 without it. These were not a problem. I did all the steps again, deactivating my firewall, adding it to my virus exception list. Still won't work. I downloaded the ultimate fix and then this happen.
Unable to start:
The content of your user data directory were created by a newer version of The Sims 4 and cannot be loaded. Please update your game via the Origin to play.

The last resort would be to reinstall my game but I would really like to avoid that. Thank you.

Other simmers on the official forums have complained of the same issue. The following is suggested on the official forums to fix it.

btw i just simply googled the error message to find the answer.

Hello and welcome to the forum,
In those instances where I helped other people with that issue, I managed to fix it by correctly configuring the anti-virus exclusions, and then re-applying the Ultimate fix for TS4. Or in your case the files from the "Get to Work"-expansion.
As an alternative, if you do not want to keep your savefiles, you could (as the previous poster said) rename the folder "The Sims 4", in My Documents/Electronic Arts. Just chnage the folder into anything else and re-start the game, making a new save.

Hello,
The problem with that method is that you are most likely going to lose your savefiles, which for most people is not an option. And if you configure your anti-virus exlcusions correctly in the first place, then this glitch will practically never show up. As for me, I have not received this error message once yet. And neither most other people that I know. So the aspect of anti-virus systems is (also) very crucial here, in my eyes.

I decided to change the folder name. My GTW pack was missing though and I had to reinstall it. Game is running fine now. After a bit of digging I realize my antivirus deleted the RldOrigin.dll app extension which messed up my whole game.
