Sims 4 Gallery "RLD". [SOLVED] Empty Sims 4 Gallery "RLD". [SOLVED]

My gallery is just saying RLD and I can't get it to change, I've tried the CaS demo method but that won't work properly so I contacted EA and they said this..

He didn't help at all (Apart from giving me a 15% Discount Code Very Happy)

Any solutions?

Hi there, @LegendarySims! Smile

I think there was a misunderstanding in that conversation with Origin support. The Sims 4 Game Time and the Create-a-Sim Demo are two completely different things. It's true that the Game Time was only for 48 hours (limited time), and it's not available anymore, but the CAS Demo doesn't have such restrictions. And it's still available.

Now, what exactly is the problem you are encountering in the CAS Demo? You should be able to connect to the Gallery there just fine, and then connect in the normal game.

It shows the logo and the cutscene but then leads to a blackscreen, and does not do anything. I left it for half-hour at one point but nothing happened.

Well, that would be a problem with the Demo itself. Have you tried right-clicking the CAS Demo in your Origin library and choosing 'Repair game'? Let it finish and see if you can open it then.

Another possibility is completely uninstalling the Demo and reinstalling it through Origin.

I see. Well, your next step would be to actually reinstall Origin.

Make sure you restart your PC after the uninstall and before you install it again. See how it goes then. Good luck!

15% discount... ? Wow...  Rolling Eyes  Did that guy (?) even know what he was talking about ?


That said, I just tested it myself: logged into my Origin account (stayed online), started the pirated Sims 4 game, and then got this:

Sims 4 Gallery "RLD". [SOLVED] Pevsjm6ub1g9



Not only can I instantly access the gallery, but also download stuff, into "my library". Are you sure you MARKED the box "Online Access" in the options menu, under the "Other"-tab there ?

Though I have both the Sims 4 CAS demo and the legit base game on Origin, I don't think the base game plays a role in that.

It seems they never know what I'm going on about.. Every time I contact them they give me games or discount codes.
Before they've given me The Sims 3 and SimCity 5 for free for just contacting them.. (So you know what to do just before you buy something on Origin) xD

Anyway, after restarting my PC and doing the CaS method it works now. Bit of a pain I need to keep exiting after I use it in order to be able to use the EP's but I suppose its better than nothing.

Yup thats the correct way and only way to do it unless you actually buy the game and expacs. Start origin start game first screen goto gallery grab what you want. Exit out of game shut down Origin then start game again.
