Hello,
So I just had my laptop completely reset (I was having problems with Windows 8 and it was the only solution) and I'm reinstalling the Sims 4. On the setup I always get this error saying "The process cannot access the file because someone has locked a portion of the file"
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello there,
Did you re-extract the downloaded .rar file?
If not, can you kindly extract ALL files from the .rar file using WinRAR (Download from www.games4theworld.org) first and then try running the installer as an Administrator again?

Re extracted before I posted this thread,but running it as admin really worked,I'm able to play it now
