TS4.exe - Entry Point Not Found Empty TS4.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Whenever I try to launch the game, I get the error message "TS4.exe - Entry Point Not Found". It says "The procedure entry point_except1 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4.exe."


Can anyone help me out?


I have the base game and Get To Work installed with the latest Ultimate Fix applied and The Sims 4 directory file is in my exceptions list under Windows Defender, Windows Firewall is disabled, and no anti-virus software is installed.


OS Version: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Try installing the vcredist files in "__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist" folder of your TS4 installation folder. I hope that works.
