Origin keeps on popping up

heyya, so i just downloaded the ultimate fix for the newest patch few days back, it was woking fine at first, but just yesterday, i can't seem to open up the sims 4 again, because everytime i end the origin process in the task manager, it keeps on popping up after i double clicked the sims 4, i'm very confused on how to solve this problem, and i already followed https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18501-unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-startup-updated-on-6-3-2015, but still it's not working. a guide to help me to solve this is much appreciated.

this problem appears after i installed avast antivirus, i already tried adding both the sims 4 and origin into the exception list, but yet it doesn't work. i already tried to uninstall the antivirus, too. but it gives no effect.

I'd suggest right clicking on your taskbar (or using ctrl+alt+delete) to get to your task manager. Then force quitting Origin.

Then try to load The Sims 4, and when it loads go to your settings and make sure you don't have it set to be online before you try to play one of your save files.

Not sure if this would work for you, but whenever I forgot to take myself offline I had a similar error and doing this helped me.

yes, i already tried force closing the origin, but it still stubbornly open up itself everytime i tried to open up the sims 4. thank you for your answer though! much appreciated

When you load origin, is it showing your The Sims 4 game under My Games?

nope, i'm using the g4tw's the sims 4, not the original copy one.

But is there anything on origin showing that you have the sims 4 in "My Games"? It's my understanding that you don't want origin to list that you have the sims 4 under "my games" as that's when origin will pop up for you to load the game. You could also try setting origin into offline mode and then seeing if you could load your game.

well, it opens when i turn on the offline mode!, but the outdoor retreat and luxury party stuff won't show up in game.

well, it opens when i turn on the offline mode!, but the outdoor retreat and luxury party stuff won't show up in game.

You could also just try uninstalling origin. It's only necessary for the gallery.

It sounds like you have a couple of problems though.

When you installed the luxury party stuff pack did you get it from G4TW, and if you did, was it installed to overwrite your G4TW Sims 4 base game?

well although i know of no workaround fr this my main question is did you log out first before exiting? because thats what you are suppose to do before you launch so it can work. I had tons of initialization problems when i would just hit exit and try to play the game. turns out, you need to logout and then exit the log in window before turning to airplane mode and playing the sims 4. If you just exit then you would receive that problem with origin popping up because its like just hitting the close button on the application, if you play a game it just going to open back up

Welcome to the forum,

The explanation is simple: something on your computer is blocking the crack of the Sims 4. My guess is that you have some sort of additional anti-virus program that you may not be aware of. These are often trial versions or downsized anti-virus programs that get installed with other software.

While the explanation is simple, the solution is usually not so simple. It's up to you to find out what is blocking the crack of Sims 4.
