text does not appear (ex. tutorial) Empty text does not appear (ex. tutorial)

hi so I installed the sims 4 and the sims 4 get to work and after I installed the expansion the boxes in which the text appears, like the menu to quit the game, the tutorials,etc does not appear anymore, what can I do about it? (If I "instal" the fix is it going to solve it? and is it compatible with the expansion?)

Yes, installing the latest Ultimate fix for Sims 4 should be definitely done ! Also, make sure to remove all mods you are having, before you update the game.
