Sims 4 Keeps Crashing. [SOLVED]

I downloaded the sims 4 from your site and copied the ultimate fix. I did all the instructions and when I started it, after the sims logo it will crash and shows "the sims 4 has stopped working". I browsed the forum and I still haven't got any answers. Here's the problem detail:

Bumping because I am having a similar problem. I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling yet because the first time I played it after installing the base game, GTW, and the ultimate fix crack, it worked perfectly. It keeps crashing now after that one time. It always crashes on the load screen. I can also enter create-a-sim and make a new sim just fine but as soon as I click play it crashes. I've been playing with Origin closed and my internet connection off. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried and apparently the DEP setting is already correct..

Are you sure you have all available Windows updates installed (like the Visual C++ runtimes), too ?
Maybe you could also right-click on the TS4.exe and go to "Properties". Under "compatibility", change the Windows operating system, and apply the change.
Other than that I'm unsure at this point though, sorry.

It's fixed now, I think it was an error because I didn't download GTW, only the base game. I downloaded GTW and I can play it now!
