I need help with a certain download please. [SOLVED]

As for the download itself, I only found one download, namely this one here:

I actually tested that one myself, and despite the lacking instructions (you're right, no instructions whatsoever from that uploader), I managed to install it and get it running on my computer. ***HOWEVER***, it appears to be an old version of the program, namely the 6.1 version, released in the year 2000 I think, lol. 

Ask your professor/teacher, if this old version is still suitable for your purposes. If it is, go ahead and download it, and I will try and assist you further with that. Good luck for now and keep me posted !

Hey, no need to feel sorry.   About the replies, click on "Welcome saintlust" in the top right of your forum window. And then on "Edit profile". Go under "Preferences" and make sure the box "Always notifiy me of replies" is marked as Yes.

And I couldn't seem to find a price list of anything...? After some googling I found a comment somewhere saying that this piece of software costs around 7,500 USD. Not sure how accurate that comment is, but still that literally knocked me off, lol.     It seems that this is highly specialized software, that is mainly intended for professionals.

Sorry to hear that you need a new version of that software, but yes...educational institutions almost always ask for the latest stuff, be it Windows, Office or other specialized stuff like in your case.

I don't get why educational institutions ask students to "get hold" of software that literally costs a fortune, but then, you can bet that this college/university is getting money from that "20/20 design" firm, for using their products, but that's off-topic. I'm almost sure though there would be much cheaper alternatives too, for your purposes.

Did you ask already if there is some sort of discount, for enrolled students ? But even if, that program would still be damn expensive....

Still expensive as hell, but alright.   The fact that there is no price list on the site itself says enough already - reminds you a little bit of high(er)-end jewellry or other expensive merchandise for which there is typically no price list either, and where you only get the information "upon special request".
