Need help download all sims 3 expansion packs. [CLOSED]

Hi. I'm new to this site. I need ALL of the sims expansion packs. This has really been bothering me! I've been wanting all the sims 3 expansion packs for a while now but it never works for me. I have the original sims 3 but I want the others. Please help.

P.S. I tried to get generations, and it worked up until I had to actually play the game. It said something about the disk not being authorized PEASE HELP!!!

You can download all of the expansionpack torrents here, and install them using these instructions. By following all steps, I guarantee your game will work, but if you run into problems, don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks but I'm downloading a torrent that has all the sims 3 expansions packs in 1 i dont know if you know the person but I think her portably username was SlientR and the torrent that I'm downloading now is called The sims 3 full [GY] have you heard of it. And do you think it'll work it's still downloading but yea...

Hello Gamer_chick,

I don't know what is inside the torrent you have downloaded but it is not recommended to install The Sims 3 with all torrents like AIO Editions or modified editions. All those torrents will only make your pc miserable and you cannot install the latest update and latter expansion packs with the game.

Therefore, you are recommended to download seperate expansion packs and the base game from www.games4theworld.org. That way, the thread Lady Eldi mentioned (The Must Read guide) will work.

Okay I understand what your saying.. But the comments about this torrent are pretty positive. And also find you saying this odd cause the person (SilentR) who made this torrent thanked you and others for updating someones torrent so my guess is that you do know this person..So..... This torrent was also made this year in
may... The torrent has ALL the sims 3 games including the cracks and instructions. How is this not good exactly??..

The torrent you have downloaded might be good for simple installation and the games installed with it might be playable. However, you might not be able to install the latest update along with the expansion packs/stuff packs after The Sims 3: University Life, and this is not a good idea if you want more expansion packs.

I just watched your sims 3 tutorial an it was confusing as hell. When I had the original sims 3 before I got the tutorial from another youtuber and it was really easy. But now I'm bored with just the original sims 3 I want the expansions. Your saying if I continue to download the torrent that I'm downloading now I won't be able to to get updates???.. But the person who created it said that I still can I'm confused I just want the legit way to get this.. But your way is so complicated and everywhere???

I don't understand the instructions though its frustrating... Do I have to download all the expansions packs for this to work like its confusing.. Also can I use magic ISP instead of damen tools???.

In my last reply, I basically suggested that you re-download the Sims 3 games from "Games4TheWorld" (and completely remove your current version). If you download from Games4theWorld you will need Magic ISO/Power ISO only for the base game. For all other expansions, you will need "WinRAR" to open and extract the content.

Also, please read the guide in the second link I posted above (this "must-read" guide on "how to install the sims 3 correctly"). I know that if you're new to this, it might be a bit difficult, but these instructions are already very simplified, and pretty much self-explanatory.

I cannot give support on games from other uploaders since 1) I'm not familiar with all of them and 2) from a personal point of view I'm a bit reluctant when it comes to "cleaning up the mess" of other uploaders (than G4TW).

Okay one more question. I'm trying to download and install winRAR 4.20 but its only showing the 5.01 version?? Do I download that one instead?

That's interesting because there is no 5.01 version (on G4TW)...hm.

Just click on the magnet symbol next to where it says "WinRAR 4.20 *HOT* " and download that thing; that should normally do.

If you have any other questions, I can elaborate on all the specific steps, if necessary.

Depending on your internet connection and depending on how many expansions you want to download, it can take a while, yes. But in my opinion, it's definitely worth the time. Smile

Make sure that you download the base game (of course) and at least one of the following expansions: Into the Future, Movie Stuff, Island Paradise, University Life, 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.

You can, of course, download more expansions, but you should have at least ONE of those mentioned. Otherwise, the "Ultimate fix" (the crack) won't work.

Do make sure to update us.

I think it just says "The Sims 3".

Omg hey! I'm glad that you replied cause the base game and two other torrents just got done downloading but it didn't work.. I guess because the folders were empty. Like I tried to mount the sims 3 base game on magic ISO but nothing. I'm confused. Isn't there suppose to be a number of flies in the sims base game. You know what I mean right? Like when the utorrent thing pops up its suppose to show you what flies are in the torrent..? Well mines did do that so deleted everything I have to start over! Please help!?

For the base game, extract it with WinRAR first and navigate to the folder where the base game content is extracted (2 virtual images, a serial generator and the installation guide). I suggest using Daemon Tools Lite for mounting. Mount StartDisk.iso first and then when you are prompted to insert another disk, mount Disk1.iso.

For other expansion packs/stuff packs, extract them one by one to seperate folders. Start the installation by double-clicking setup.exe or autorun.exe. You do not need to mount anything regarding the installation of the expansion packs/stuff packs.

Okay so I downloaded the sims 3 base game, pets, and generations ( gonna download more ) but I'm confused on installing the sims 3 base game. I was told that I can use magic ISO or power ISO for the dims 4 BASE GAME ONLY but they didn't work.. I guess cause all the sims 3 games I downloaded are rar files.. So now I was just told to open ALL the sims 3 files with winRAR and so I started with the sims 3 base game (of course) and now I'm extracting everything in to a new folder on my desktop. But in the instructions it say to mount OR burn BOTH the_sims_3_startdisk.iso and the_sims_3_startdisk_1.iso. What EXACTLY am I suppose to use to mount them. Daemon tool failed also. Help please!

Hello again,

So you mean you finished installing the game already ? And now, the game's loading bar gets stuck ?

Have you downloaded any mods ? If so, remove all mods. You can even try removing your whole "The Sims 3" folder: go to My documents/Electronic Arts and remove the folder "The Sims 3". Restart the game then.
