Sims 3 expansion packs Empty Sims 3 expansion packs

I am using 7-zip file manager and anytime I open the Sims3SP05Setup.exe a message comes up saying >setupnew\setup.cpp (140) PAPP; PVENDOR PGUID: $15.0.0.498 @windows vista service pack 1 (7601) IE version: 9.0.8112.16421. And it won't let me install any of the expansion packs.

Hello,

Use winRAR in stead, any other program can mess up the files resulting in the error you're getting. You can get winRAR here.
