Reinstalling from an external HD

How to re-install The Sims 3 expansion Packs from an external Hard drive?
My computer caught a virus, so I
had to reboot it back to its manufacturing point. Before I did that I
managed to save all The Sims folders onto my external Hard
drive..Luckily.. But now I am trying to reinstall all my games.. I re
installed The sims 3 base with my Cd.. The Ambitions is a cracked
version.. The Late Night and High End loft are Cd's but I cant find the
Cd's.. Is there anyway to re install the games using just there folders
which i copied before i rebooted my computer.

Hello,
Try copying the (extracted) archives back to your PC, then installing them.
I'm afraid its not going to work with any installed game folders you copied. You'll need the original (extracted) archives you downloaded in order to reinstall.
