Incompatible base game. [SOLVED]

Hi. I just downloaded the sims 3 fix and followed the steps. But when I Open the launcher it says that sims 3 base game is incompatible on the expansions and when i try to update it by checking the TS3SPO2_7.3.2.011031_Update.exe and then click the update now, nothings happen.
what should I do?

Hello,

Please try the following:

1. Download and apply this Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
2. Instead of using the launcher's update function, use this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v124-fix

Read the Fix' instructions VERY carefully. Please let me know the result here! Good luck!

thank you for your quick responce but I still can't update it. After applying the fix again I can now update the launcher but later a pop up will tell that invalid file found.. and I can't download the manual patch that you gave it always get interrupted. Is there another way I can download the manual patch? thank you! hoping for you another quick responce.

Hello,
The "invalid file" error is usually caused by a crack, so I think you may have misplaced some files from the fix. This instruction video can help you put them in the right place.
The patch can be downloaded manually from many different websites. Searching for the sims 3 1.24 download should get you a number of websites from where you can download it.

Problem solved! I watched the video in HD and there I notce I have 10 files in generation folder while in your video there are only so i deleted the other files that are not in your video and I also successfully downloaded the manual patch and it updated successfully. now my sims runs ok. thank you for your help! I appreciate it very much!
