Ultimate fix not applying after a clean install

I'm running Windows 10.

I fully uninstalled and clean installed my Sims 4 game after I kept getting the "Origin must be running" error despite trying the fixes on here, I installed the game outside of the Electronic Arts folder so the pathway is C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4, have followed the full instructions including creating exceptions in Windows Defender, but despite applying the temporary fix, my game version is still 1.0.797.20.

Anybody else had this happen?

How to Install The Sims 4 with Cool Kitchen Stuff, Spa Day and all DLCs (with torrent link)!

All of those torrent links come up with a "no sources found" error. I've got all my DLs through G4TW and I'd rather not have to download more of the same things if I don't have to.

It is weird, Amadeavongris, but thanks for the warning, I will check my torrent client to see what happens (I am only seeding the latest fix, though).

It takes some time and, for some reason, my upload rate is not too nice right now.

Please, try leaving the torrent in your client and waiting a few hours... I am the only seed right now.
