Title say all. I download all the steps, extracted them, and then applied them to my "Program Files(x86)". I also went a head and download the stuff from the "Installer" folder as well

There's no need to create several topics for each problem you encounter. You can keep updating the one you have open at the moment.

Now, how exactly doesn't it work? Are you getting an error? Is Origin opening? Or you can't find the DLC in the game?
Where is the The Sims 4 folder located at the moment then? In Origin Games, or in Program Files?

And what do you mean when you say you downloaded the 'stuff' from the _Installer folder?

Oh sorry, I thought that if I was experiencing a different problem to make a different subject. Will keep in mind!

I'm not getting an errors, the base game works just the expansion packs, stuff packs, and other DLCs that I don't have aren't showing up in my game

Also, by 'stuff' I meant the 'vcredist' things

I see. Did you move the folder so that it's outside of Origin Games? It should be at Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4. Also, you need to completely close Origin before starting the game, and make sure that you start the game from the TS4.exe that is inside the current location of the game, on The Sims 4\Game\Bin.

It seems like you are running either a different copy of the game, or the game with Origin open.

Hmm, not sure if it worked or not. Now TS4 just stops responding after a while

Well, at least there's a change. Have you waited a little bit, to see if it responds after all? Sometimes a message will appear saying 'The Sims 4 has stopped responding', but if you leave it for a bit it will start. It just takes longer.

I tried that as well, and then it gives me.

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the progarm and notify you if a solution is available."

Hi there! Please try the things below and let's know if any helps (besides what SeoY already told you above, like closing Origin or changing it to Off Line mode):

1. Run the game "as administrator";
2. Rename the folder "The Sims 4" inside your "Documents" folder to something else and try the game again;
3. After closing the game after the crash, open the task manager, check if you have any TS4.exe running, if you do, stop it, then run the game again (worked for me when I first tried to play with it)
4. Run the game directly on the folder it is installed (not using a shortcut) and by right clicking it and "running as administrator".

Please, let's know if any of those helps or if we can further assist you.

Please, try updating your video card driver, your operating system (windows update etc, not necesarrily upgrade to Win 10, just updating the system files is enough) and lowering your game graphic settings.

Also, I remember Carlos posting somewhere you could right click your game and select "Run with [your good graphics card here and not the onboard one]".

What are the main specs of your system, by the way (processor, RAM, free drive C: space, graphics card, DirectX version, if it's Windows 32 or 64 bit etc)?
