Town Life disc required?

Hi there! I bought the Sims 3 base game on the EA's website, but I've gotten all the expansions except for Outdoor Living here.

Everything has been newly installed and I followed the instructions in the Ultimate Fix to the letter. The program is updated and the launcher will open, but when I try to start the game, I get a notification that I need to insert the Town Life disc and cannot play.

Just wondering how I can fix this issue!

I've put the crack in that folder several times and the game is still giving me the notification.

I was having the same problem after I put the update patch 1.24. Before I had put the ultimate fix and then I put the update patch and it started asking me for the disk

Yeah, that's what happened to me too. Before, I only had the base, LN, High End Loft Stuff and Generations without the fix and it was working fine even though I couldn't update. Now I have all the expansions except for Outdoor Living and it's updated but I need the disk.

I'm absolutely positive that I put the crack in the correct folder.
Could it have anything to do with the fact that my base game was downloaded from the EA store? I've noticed that there aren't as many files in my purchased game's directory as there were when I had the G4tW version.

Yeah, it replaced one of the files and the other wasn't there. I uninstalled the store bought game and am going to try to use your version to see if that works.
