sims 3 doesnt work anymore after installing expansion

Hey,
I have installed the sims 3 university life expansion correctly and placed the crack in the sims 3 map (game --> bin ). the problem is that since i installed it my sims 3 doesnt work anymore.
is it a problem that i had already bought the official version sims 3 + a few expansions and installed it on that or is it something else?

Hi! It may be a problem if you are using the official from origin, then installed the expansions. You should use all "disk" installers to avoid folder issues.
I also own the game, but I use G4TW with my legitimate license, since it works better than the official EA version you download through origin, in my opinion, of course
