Problems with ultimate fix. [CLOSED]

So i watched the youtube video to help me with the ultimate fix. I installed all the games stuff packs and expansion, the only one i didn't install was the town life stuff, but i installed generations and it was the only game downloaded from G4TW. I copied all the files i needed to, tried to install the update, but it failed cause it says there's a invalid file found. I also noticed that in the youtube video tutorial when the update was downloading it showed 648 mb, but when i downloaded it on my PC it was 97 MB. I can still start the game, but every time i click play on my launcher, a pop up appears that said i have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match my current version of sims 3, and that i should either uninstall those game modification or get updated versions of them - otherwise i might experience crashes or significant bugs. In the end it asks if i want to quit, but i press continue and i can play the game, but its not updated to the latest 1.24 version. Is there any thing i can do to update it to 1.24 without getting the invalid file error ?

2. At step 12 it'll ask you to open the launcher and update the game. Instead of updating via the launcher, please use this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v124-fix

3. When you've done that, continue with the steps from the Fix.
4. Start the game and it should work fine. Good luck!

I've apllied the fix just as the video showed. Should i aplly the fix all over again now, or will it work if i just install the patch from the link you gave me ?

Let's see... you only need to apply the (manual) patch and then only step 14 from the Fix.
After that, you should be good to go! Good luck and please let me know the result here.
