Supernatural problems... [CLOSED]

Im having some problems while playing the sims. 1- I cant see how much magic my which was left, it appears all in blank, but I still can perform magic with him. 2- I cant buy Elixers from the Alchemy Store, when I try 2 buy it, my sim finishes the conversation and then the game continues on, no pause and buy menu. 3- While in buy mode there are some itens tht appears in black when Im trying 2 buy them, not w/ its actual color. How can I fix these problems??

Do you have any mods/cc installed? Try removing them if you do.

If not, try backing up and deleting your sims 3 folder, which forces the game to generate a new one.

I do hav some mods and cc, and shuold I try both options or just one of them?? (Say after I back up the sims 3 folder, delete, create a new one, then I just replace my save folder in the new one, right??)

Back up and then remove this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims

Don't do anything else after that, just restart the game. (A new folder, which you can ignore, will automatically be regenerated)

ok, then wat about my save files, after the game generates a new folder I just copy my save to the new one or not??

Ok, so I had this same problem and I did everything. I reset the Sim, I reloaded the game, I even removed the Elixir shop and put a new one in etc. Finally, I canceled out two consignments I already had and like magic (pun fully intended) it started working again!
