[SOLVED] Trouble Downloading Houses: Getting Outdated-Game Message

I'm having issues downloading houses - I know that we can't access the Gallery so I get my mods from TheSimsResouce, however every time I try to download certain houses I get the "Cannot place content because it was made on a newer version of the game." message. 

I downloaded the GTW expansion from you guys as well as all the stuff packs included in SimArcitiect's repackaging, and then I applied the Fix yet the same thing kept happening. The version you guys have is the newest one so far so this message shouldn't be coming up, does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

*Update*
I think I figured it out, after re-reading some of the TheSimsResource house posts I noticed a long list of CC you're apparently supposed to download before downloading the house, that way everything will come out. I tested it out and it worked! However this still leaves me wondering why some of the houses that had "No CC" attached to their description didn't work in the game either....i'll leave this post open for a solution to that.

That was my mistake, I thought the latest version of the game was the 1.10 we currently have but apparently they've made a newer 1.11 version (as confirmed in the comments below) so if you get that message you'll just have to skip it.


*Solution*
So basically just download the CC (custom content) listed below the houses, that'll make everything available when you're ready to place the house. If it says the home was made on a newer version of the game (anything above 1.10) then you'll have to find another home because the current crack is at 1.10, not the 1.11.

Hello! I've tried placing that same lot above and encountered the same problem as well. The only conclusion I came up with is that perhaps the base game has a different version.  

The latest (if I'm not mistaken) is 1.11.64.1020 while the one we currently have is 1.10.57.1020.


Of course, this is only my theory.

I believe that @Ageha is right, the new content was made with a newer version of the game and EA would not lose the chance to lock us out of it

Maybe you could ask the person who made that content available if they have an older copy of it, sometimes developers save multiple versions/backups of what they create along the way, and you might get something that was saved with the version we have (or an earlier than that version, which would be also fine).

Otherwise, keep your download somewhere safe and wait for a new fix to come, then you should be able to play with it, probably...
