Apparently my client refuses to download anything with uTorrent, including torrents from other sites, as it doesn't advance beyond "Connecting to Peer". Help me, please?

Have you tried the suggestions here ?

Also very important, try downloading the stuff at different times of the day, if possible. In your geographic area/timezone there may not be any seeders. And when you do download, the seeders (from other parts of the world) may not be online.
