Sims3Launcher Crashing/Problem with Origin?

I have carefully followed the "how to install sims 3 correctly" as well as applying the ultimate fixes, carefully following installation guides, etc etc. And I still have no clue what's wrong!
(I should add, I am not having the update issue)
I have also thoroughly checked the forum and haven't been able to find a solution for this specific problem...
So, I have the base game legally bought and downloaded on Origin, installing that and playing works fine! Any time I try to install any expansion pack, I cannot play the game because I get the "Sims3Launcher" crash, or my game just crashes on start. I have gone and uninstalled everything Sims related, reinstalled base game, and tried applying expansions 1 at a time, then applying whatever is in the fix for it, and I still get the same problem!
I had used the torrents from this site before on other computers, and everything went well! But it seems the problem started almost as soon as I tried to install expansion packs other than Supernatural, Late Night, Pets, and Into the Future. It seems, specifically, I'm having issues with one of the other many expansions...
The first expansion I tried to install this time was Ambitions and that did not work, so I followed what I read in another thread and attempted to install Generations and apply the fix. Still nothing.
What am I doing wrong, and what should I do differently?
If needed, I can send screenshots!

Hi! Sorry for my late reply!
Please, follow the steps in my video below and use the complete collection. You should use the base game from it (NOT the origin, you don't even need origin at all), follow the instructions from the video: install the base game, install the "full update", install at least one expansion newer than Generations (you can install them all if you want), install all manual updates that apply in the crescent order (to all expansions that you installed), install the full update again, apply the fix, enjoy.
Please, let's know if it works after doing that
