Unable to start: The content of your user data directory were created by a new user...
The other week I installed Get to work, and it was fine.
But then I had to format my computer.
So here I am... I installed Sims 4 the other day, and just did the Sims 4 Get to work, however it didn't open, and when it did, it came up with this message...
I don't understand what the Ultimate fix it to apply it, a little help would be much appreciated :)

Fixed it!
I fixed the problem, I went into my firewall and windows defender to try and sort it, but still nothing... Ended up going to bin folder and deleted the default file! Sorted it instantly.

Welcome to the forum,
Thanks for sharing this solution ! It seems that for different people, different solutions can apply here. See this post for example, which I wrote a while ago, and the comments of some other users:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t20396-unable-to-start-the-contents-of-your-user-data-directory-were-created-by-a-newer-version-of-the-sims-4
An interesting problem, but what all solutions have in common is that they are easy to apply, making this error less dreadful. Thanks again for sharing.
