"Sims 4 has stopped working".

Hello,

I just installed the latest update for Sims 4 (Get together).
When I open the game though it crashes while I'm in CAS. I haven't had the chance to go into live mode yet.

Before the update it was working fine, and I took out all my mods and savees before starting up a new game to have a look.
Now, as I'm trying to create a new family (still no mods or anything) it crashes with "Sims 4 has stopped working" - I run windows 8.

See if these steps help your gameplay in any way. They did help me; my own Sims 4 maybe crashed (randomnly) 2 or 3 times in total, since the release. I hope they will help you too. Good luck !
