sims3 WA Regedit issues [CLOSED]

okay so I downloaded world adventures from you guys and all of the others. I actually bought the base game though, go me. Anyways. I have all of them installed except for WA, it was the slowest to download. Everything else installed correctly and works right. I'm not really having any problems with the merchandise here.

Okay, so my problem is that when I try to do the first step in the installation guide that came with the WA download, I can't do it. I typed in regedit, hit enter, went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and when I got there, I didn't have the submenu SIMS and so I couldn't go any further. I tried to install without doing that, but it wouldn't work, I figured it wouldn't though.

Anyways, what do I do? Should I uninstall the others and then re-install from the first EP? Do you think that would fix it?

I know I'm new here, but this is the only reason I joined the forum, so I'm gonna keep buggin you guys until I get a fix, lol.
