Accessing The Gallery with Legit Sims 4 Copy Empty Accessing The Gallery with Legit Sims 4 Copy

I have a legit copy of The Sims 4 registered on Origin, and pirated expansions/stuff packs from you guys.
Will I be able to access the gallery if I open TS4 through Origin? Can I update the game on Origin?

Hello @madelinef99 and welcome to the forum,

You can only connect to the gallery when you download the legit game, and start the game from within Origin, or from the original .exe file in C:\Program files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin.

If you use the pirated .exe file to start the game, it's not going to work, sorry...

My game is located in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe" because I would get the "origin is not running" error if I kept the Sims 4 folder in the Origin Games folder.

So could I run my Sims 4 from Origin, download what I want from the gallery, exit the game and Origin completely, then open the game from my TS4_x64 exe shortcut? Would that work?

I cannot tell for sure if that would work. But as I hinted above, the legit game and the pirated game of Sims 4 are 2 distinct pieces of software. In your case, it's not going to work I guess. You really must have the legit game downloaded, and you must start the Sims 4 from Origin.

The probably easiest way to do this would be if you have access to a second computer, from a relative or good friend. Use that second computer to install Origin + your legit Sims 4 there. Then, download from the gallery. Copy your entire "Tray"-folder from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 onto a USB flashdrive or something, and paste that folder into the corresponding location on your OWN computer.

And on your own computer, you only have your pirated Sims 4. 

That would be the most convenient location in my eyes.
