i just installed the sims life story, i got the message direct 3d returened error, i know i should switch graphics to intel instead of Amd but i dont know how

It seems as if the problem mainly (or even exclusively) occurs in laptop graphics systems only...which is not good, but alright. Just bear in mind that these "integrated chips" are not meant to be used for gaming purposes. 

Even if these "Sim Stories" games are older now, you should be careful, and e.g. not play for too long per gaming session.
