The Sims 4 Error on Startup

Every time I try to open TS4, it says it couldn't start because "required game data is missing or damaged". I don't have any mods or custom content, I just installed the base game and GTW/Get Together,
I followed the steps in both the "How to Install TS4 Correctly" and in the Instruction Guides included. I completely uninstalled everything and did it all over again, even threw the Fix on top the past couple times I've tried. I had my antivirus turned off the whole time. I don't know what else the problem might be.

If any staff members want to Team View me to see if they can figure it out, I'd be more than okay with that.

Have you looked at part 3) from this guide here ?

Try editing those folder permissions. If that still doesn't work, try moving your installation folder of The Sims 4 to the desktop. And then start the game from there. Good luck for now !

Neither of those worked, it still tells me that the game data is missing or damaged! :\

I'm afraid that for now, there isn't much else I can do or suggest. Most people eventually figure it out after removing incompatible script mods, but since you don't have any mods...

When copying and pasting the updates for Get to Work & Get together, did you choose to replace ALL of the existing files and folders ?

And did you make sure to extract all downloads with the program WinRAR only ?

Yes and yes. I can't think of anything that'd make it mess up unless there are still registry entries or files somewhere that mess with it even after I uninstall and delete everything I can find. Otherwise, I know my antivirus kept messing with it, but I deactivated it and reinstalled everything, and it still said it was damaged. I'll try again, though, and let you know how it goes.

Did you also apply the little "hotfix" on top of your Get together installation ? See the topic here:
