Base game not recognized

I've been searching for a fix to this problem and can't seem to find one anywhere, it's super frustrating.
Whenever I try to install University Life, Island paradise, Movie stuff pack, and Into the future I get an error that I need to install a copy of Sims 3 base game.
Which I have, including every other expansion pack, and stuff pack except those 4.
I hate to post for help, but I can't seem to find a solution myself.

Can you open the launcher, and tell me the game version? You can find it in the lower left corner on the launcher.

Is that what it says on the launcher?
Sometimes when this error comes up, you'll see gameversion 0.0.0.0. If that's the case, you'll have to reinstall the base game (not the expansions!).
If you do that, don't forget to restart your computer after uninstalling, before you start the reinstallation process.
If it doesn't say 0.0.0.0 though, there's no need to uninstall at this point.

You meant to post the thing with "game version" being at 0-0-0-0, but that got replaced with one of those new emoticons.
@Topic opener, in the past, did you ever un-install either the base game or any of the other expansions/stuffpacks ?
