Admin and G4TW Team, I need to ask something.
I used the old "complete" version with only the base game. Currently I have The Sims 4 base game only and I don't want to install the expansion packs. What happens if I just placed the current "update-only" version on the game?

I split your post and moved it to the correct section; please make sure to not post questions anymore in "Fixes"-threads. Smile

I haven't used the update-only myself, so feel free to give it a try. Normally, it should give you only the base game updates, without the DLC. But as of recently, people reported issues with that...and it seems you cannot really "separate" the base game updates and the individual DLCs anymore. Which means: people will have to download and install the 'complete pack'.

In fact, the main reason we even have this "update-only"-fix is because some people (with slower internet connections) asked for a smaller thing, that makes it easier for them to download. In the end, 99% of users seem to want to download all DLC-packs anyhow.
